My man Fes Taylor opened up the floodgates for me to jump on a track with a Wu legend, the Rebel INS. It was an honor and definitely the biggest collab thus far in my music career.
I remember as a younger dude, listening to SOOO much WU. To say that I wasn't influenced by their approach would be a straight lie! Deck, Black Thought, Nas, Kweli & Mos, Red, Rakim are hands down some of my favorite emcees. To now be able to say that i was on the same song as one of these artist is a blessing! Respect to Fes Taylor & StatenAll-Stars!
