The birth of this 'particular collab' was brought about by a line that Rhymageddon put in one of his songs. NJHIPHOPIZTHEMOVEMENT. The track had an impact, I believe, on all the emcees involved.
We had several meetings with emcees, producers, managers, graphic designers, promoters, and all. We were trying to literally put a movement together that would be like a renaissance for JERSEY HipHop scene. The ATF in Newark, NJ was our headquarters in a sense. All of the emcees featured on the track made it a regular venue for sharpening up their skills and of course collabing with each other. The movement, never picked up full steam and this was THE ONLY track that all of us recorded together. Crazy thing about it is, the day of recording the track, there were about 20-30 emcees all gathered together inside my man Push Buttinz crib!!!!!! True family affair. Not everyone made the cut, but different versions of the song hopefully will be put out very soon!
